Pull rates & odds

Every Packdle pack is generated server-side by an engine seeded from a cryptographically secure random number generator (CSPRNG). The odds tables below are rendered directly from the same configuration file the engine reads, so they cannot drift from what actually happens when you open a pack. The numbers approximate community-measured pull rates for each era of the real Pokémon TCG.

Nothing about a pack is decided in your browser. The roll happens on the server before the first card is revealed, so the odds can't be inspected or predicted from your browser, let alone gamed.

Shard burn values

Duplicate pulls are burned automatically into Shards, Packdle's only currency. A pack from the shop costs 500 Shards, and the burn ladder is capped so no single duplicate ever pays for a pack on its own.

Fine print

Odds are per-slot and independent between packs; there is no pity timer and no manipulation of individual rolls. If a set simply doesn't contain cards of an upgrade tier, that upgrade is skipped rather than substituted. Read more about how the game works on the about page.
